Eastern park

In 2018, Another Perspective and Carteret County Parks & Recreation formed a partnership to install a handicap-accessible, inclusive play set at Eastern Park in Smyrna, N.C. The play set has been installed at the Park, and is named in honor of Sarah James Fulcher. The proceeds from the First Annual Sarah James Fulcher Redfish Tournament were used to make this installation possible, and the play set will allow all children from all over Carteret County, especially the northern portions, to have a place to play. Another Perspective is currently pursuing partnerships and avenues to complete the full play set, as can be seen in the bottom renderings, as well as complete installations at other County parks. The park was completed on June 27, 2019.

Groundbreaking:

On June 19, 2019, a ground-breaking ceremony was held at Eastern Park in Smyrna, NC for the new installation of the inclusive play-set in honor of Sarah James Fulcher. Members of her family and Another Perspective were present to celebrate!
